Mmmmerry Christmas!

That's what it felt like chez Piggy yesterday. Why? Because I received an absolutely fabulous (sweetie dahling) package from my Laura, aka CephalopodLover, my partner in the Ravelry Malabrigo swap

If any of you have not used Malabrigo yarn before...rectify that situation tout de suite. Seriously. Mmmalabrigo is the most beautiful stuff ever. It's lusciously soft -- like buttah. And it comes in the most beautiful colourways imaginable. We're talking yarn porn, here.

Right, back to Piggy. So, here is what my friendly postal employee handed to me yesterday afternoon:

The customs form said the box contained eight -- EIGHT! -- skeins of yarn. Squeeeeeeeeee!

So I ripped into the box , and what was inside? Lots and lots of prezzies wrapped in my favourite colours:

It took me a while to open them all up, because I had to ooooh and ahhh over every piece. Here's the big haul in all its glory:

Let's break it all down, shall we? First off, yesterday's dinner:

I'm not joking about them being dinner, either. They were so yummy, I couldn't stop eating them. They tasted like oatmeal cookie dough infused with lemon zest -- and what's not to love about that? I suspect the wholesomeness factor is diminished somewhat if you eat the whole tub in a single sitting, but no matter.

Then, to help me make something else to fill up my tummy to the very top, My Sweet Vegan, a vegan dessert cookbook from my Amazon list.

Next up, a whole bunch of piggy awesomeness:

Included in the cuteness: a flying piggy Buzzing Bog bag, perfect for notions; a set of four coasters made of lovely piggy fabric; a set of magnets from little red birdie -- including another flying piggy!; and a flying piggy ornament from 609East.

And, last but certainly not least, the yarn. And yes, there were eight skeins! To start: two skeins of Koigu PPPM sock yarn in the most incredible blend of pinks and purples. And, best of all, six (SIX, people!) skeins of Mmmalabrigo Worsted: two each of Christmas Green, Hollyhock and Barbie.

Here's a not-so-great picture of the yarn -- sorry, but I needed the flash.

I mean, seriously. Is that not the. best. swap. package. ever.? You better believe it! Laura is one generous swapper, and I am one lucky piggy.

Thank you soooo much, Laura!
